   but a dipstick is just a long carbon rod with marks on it….why is it so important to you that it is the real brand one. just use a piece of string with a weight at the end

   any scrap yard you can get all types of spares .a lot cheaper………….

   local scrappers should be able to sort you out but youre local main dealer probably wont be that much dearer(for new), youre choice.

   Breakers yard or main dealer, it is important to get the correct length so the markings are in the correct position, a bit of string aint the answer.

   You don’t want to be driving around without a dipstick for long. Save yourself any hassle & go to a Peugeot dealer, don’t imagine it’ll be that dear anyway.

    i read somewhere that if you bang the dipstick in hard on certain models of Peugeot the plastic end can break off (BE CAREFUL) all you pug owners out there.
